VMR Weather Station

A portable, self-timing weather logger you can set down anywhere: on deck, on a beach, or at a field site.

The VMR Weather Station records barometric pressure, air temperature, and humidity on the same base as the VMR. GPS sets the clock and tags the station’s location, so every reading carries an accurate time and place without any setup. Check current conditions on the OLED display, or connect your phone to the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot for the live dashboard. No app or internet connection is needed.

• Barometric pressure, air temperature, and humidity

  • Pressure: Absolute accuracy ±0.5 hPa. Relative accuracy ±0.08 hPa, both at 900–1100 hPa and 25–40 °C

  • Air Temperature: ±0.2 °C over 0–65 °C.

  • Humidity: 2 %RH over 10–90 %RH

• Wind speed and direction (ultrasonic anemometer with no moving parts)

  • One degree angular resolution

  • 0 - 45 m/s max speed

• GPS-synced time and logged position

• OLED data screens with a dimming knob and status lights

• Wi-Fi hotspot dashboard on any phone or laptop

• Everything logged to a removable SD card in open formats

With wind sensor: Add a wind sensor for wind speed and direction, logged alongside the pressure, temperature, and humidity record and shown live on the display and dashboard. This gives you a complete surface weather picture from a single unit.
